This is another shoutout for Champions. I don’t really care which version, from 1e to 6th, they are all good.
I try and play Champions every Christmas in an ongoing campaign made of stringing one shot adventures together. Sometimes I swap out the villain in the published adventure and insert some of my own favorites. This makes the missions hang together in a much more coherent fashion. I do like a recurring villain.
