I think that Kenny Norris was on the cusp of arriving at the same place as Jason Cordova reached with his 7-3-1 system. I think the difference may have come down to Kenny being a writer first and foremost, whereas Jason Cordova was coming at this as a Preping GM.
I fully confess that I am a massive fan of 7-3-1, and fall back on it for as my default way of prepping. An adventure prepared this way can easily be played solo as it was intended to be easily improvised. At its core all oracle based solo is improvisation.
