These rules add solo roleplaying as an option for Capers by Nerdburger Games. You will need the core Capers rules to use this book.
Capers is a 1920s themed Supers game using a simple playing card game mechanic in place of dice for random events.
These solo rules use cards for emulating the role of Game Master.
Oracles & Seers
The Oracle is used for questions that are answered yes-no. The suit gives you the base positive or negative and the pip value or face adds shades of grey to the answer.
The Seer is used for more abstract questions, those that are not answered yes or no. What are they talking about? What is in the safe? These more narrative style questions all fall under the Seer. The Seer uses the suit for a sphere of influence such as physical or mental and the pip value for the action.
These simple rules make for a fast and light solo experience that feels very much like the original Capers game.
